Professor Hans - "Business Modeling"

Level-up how you Organize your Business!

Have you ever wondered why we sleep?

When we sleep none of our body systems stop working, everything continues. Muscles, internal organs, everything really.

Doctors believe that we sleep, so our brains can organize information.

In business, you need to take time when you are awake to do the very same.

It is always critical to take time to write down your thoughts. Organize, complete what you started, and make sure that you capture as much as possible.

Go back through all of your notes, every comment made, and capture everything.

If you don't know where something fits right now, just keep it in a special document, and you might use it later as you continue to evolve and think through the details

Don't delete anything! If you're working in a word processing document, it's good to get in the habit of saving it as a new document every time you go in to update or modify the details.

Save all documents in a single folder named something easy to remember in a place that you can easily find.

As you document every detail of what you have worked on in every section thus far, think from the reader's perspective, and ask yourself this;

What details will persuade a reader that this will actually work?

Do these details help people understand?

Does that detail prove the point?

Does any of this information disagree and contradict with other information in this document? and so on.

Remember business writing should be in the third person, not conversational. So don't write, it will take me three months to write the code and then I figure it'll take me about two weeks to work with my friends to work out the problems then launch.

No, No, No.

Write something like;

Software development is estimated to be completed within three months, and

For testing and bug regression are estimated to take two weeks.

At which point the restricted access site will be deployed on the internet for selected users to beta test and evaluate. You see the difference?

You should be reading and evolving and refining these details every day

Thank You
